Austin’s main daily newspaper is the Austin American-Statesman. The Austin Chronicle is Austin’s alternative weekly, while The Daily Texan is the student newspaper of the University of Texas at Austin. Austin’s business newspaper is the weeklyAustin Business Journal. Austin also has numerous smaller special interest or sub-regional newspapers such as the Oak Hill Gazette, Westlake Picayune, Hill Country News, Round Rock Leader, NOKOA, and The Villager among others.
